It's time America to start a chain reaction of change. America's future is dimly lit. Our politicians on both sides and even in the middle are turning this nation upside down. Parties are attempting to destroy our great nation to gain power over each other at the expense of the American people. George Washington even forecasted the dangers of party politics in a letter: "...political parties, from Conservatives to Anarchists -- is designed to make lies sound truthful and murder respectable, and to give an appearance of solidity to pure wind." Are ageing constitution needs to be refurbished, are political system needs to be tweaked, and are people need to demand change.

Why is America falling apart?

The principles of democracy is that the people hold the power; however, recently the people that we elect in congress and in the senate are not working for the good of the people. As Theodore Roosevelt states, "Under democracy one party always devotes its chief energies to trying to prove that the other party is unfit to rule - and both commonly succeed, and are right." The reason why America is falling apart lies in party politics. Congress, and the Senate are split between party lines, and work against themselves in hopes to make their party more popular. If one of the parties attempts to pass legislation that might benefit the people as a whole, the other party will take a hard stance against it in fear that the other party might gain popularity. With no incentive to motivate congress and the senate to work together, both are pushing this country deeper and deeper under water. Lets change America before we run out of air to do so. 


How can we fix America?

There is no easy solution to fix our system of government to function in the modern age. We will have to take baby steps, one at a time, to reach our goal. One problem that should be addressed easily is that there is no incentive for congress or the senate to work as a unit for the people as they get paid the same. Unlike every other American who gets paid based on job performance congress and the senate get paid the same regardless if they do their job or not. We must create an incentive to motivate them to do their job.


One solution one baby step

 I propose a simple fix that congress would be paid based on their job approval rating. I strongly believe that if the Legislative Branch as a whole is doing their job that they should be paid much more than they are now. I also, strongly believe that if they aren't doing their job at all and more than 80% of the country agrees then the people who work inside the Legislative Branch (congress, senate, etc...) should have to pay a total percentage of their total assets (all the money they own) every month back to the people. This simple plan would force Legislative Branch to work for the interests of the people and not for the greed of their party.

Fixing America will be no easy task; However, it will start with the people's demand for Change. I'm working to start a non-profit organization to get the ball rolling, and inspire Americans to get off their feet and take action.
